Can I make changes to what I receive?
We understand that some people do not enjoy certain vegetables, and if we have sufficient supply, we will work with you to substitute other items.

What is in the boxes?
Everything is grown locally, so you will receive whatever is in season, a mixture of fruits and vegetables. Click here to see a list of the produce we grow.

How do I get the produce?
You arrange to pick up your produce in advance. We have convenient locations in Davenport, Galesburg and at the farm. Click here for exact locations and pick up dates.

What does it cost?
You can choose the share that best suits your family. Your share will contain a variety of in season vegetables, fruits, and farm products, and you can choose from four different share packages, ranging in price from the Full 16 week Share of one bushel of produce (approximately enough for a large family of 4+ individuals), which is $595—to a bi-weekly, half bushel of vegetables and fruits, which you receive for a total of 8 weeks (every other week for 16 weeks), which costs $345.

Is there a way I can work for the farm, and pay less for my share?
Yes! We have two programs that will let you help us on the farm, and exchange, you get a discount on the cost of your CSA produce share for you and your family. We even have 10 Full Share memberships available that will let you earn the entire cost by helping out on the farm! Click here for more information: Work Share Program.

Is there an extra cost (delivery charge) for off-site pick-up?
Produce shares may be picked up at the Farm with no additional charges, or you may pick up your share at one of our designated sites. There is a one time surcharge of $30 for the Davenport and Galesburg locations.

Can I order farm fresh eggs?
Due to the unpredictability for eggs, we do not offer eggs as a CSA item, but we will have eggs available for purchase in the Farm Market. Eggs will not be delivered to pick up locations.

We will be out of town. Can I interrupt my service?
While we would appreciate notice that you will not be picking up your share, we cannot provide credit for a week you will miss. Perhaps you would like to notify us that a friend or relative will be picking up your share that week.

Is the produce organic?
We require no chemicals to preserve our vegetables and fruits, since they will be picked ripe and available immediately to you as farm fresh vegetables. We use minimal if any non-organic treatments for pest control, but we do not go to the work and expense to be certified organic.

How do I pay?
We accept credit cards, checks and cash. You can bring your payment to us at the farm, or mail it in with your application. For your convenience, credit cards can also be used either at the farm, or make your payment online using your Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express or Paypal.
